Default Torque Arm hits tunnel

I have a 98 SS with an edlebrock torque arm, when accelerating it hits the tunnel. I have adjusted it a couple times and it is still hitting the tunnel, does anyone have any suggestions.

What about an engine mount busted? It is due to torque I would imagine. I had a 94 Z28, but can't remember how the frame was, I think that they made frame connectors for those.

The torque arm itself can really only hit the tunnel if it's coming free of the front bracket mount. If the trans mount is torn, the tail end of the transmission (where the tail piece bolts to the case) will be the one smacking the tunnel. Unless the way your arm is mounted puts it close to the side of the tunnel?

I have new tranny mounts, and engine mounts, i think it is how it is mounted. I bought the car with the toque arm already on it and it is hitting on the front of it, enough to put a hole in the tunnel.
