Should. Not sure if the LS is different, but that's how I do it with my LT.

You can do it on any line that has vacuum. Just make sure you dont over do it.

any vacuum works. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to suck it in after the purge solenoid valve?

And make sure when you finish sucking in the amount you are using, to turn your car off. I see so many people just burn through it right away, which won't clean your car at all.

Yeah, i used half a can and shut it off as quick as i could after i finished pouring it in. I let it sit for 15 minutes. It smoked quite a bit, but not as much as some videos off youtube. I think i notice an improvement. I also changed my fuel filter, which had 108,000 miles on it. My uncle only did it once when he has the car. I am running a HEAVY dose of seafoam in the gas too. My miss at idle seems to have gone away. I was also getting a power surge when shifting through the gears when the engine was cold. that is gone too.

Don't ever use more than the directions tell you too.

He is right on. Do not over due it with the seafoam in the tank. It is a lot stronger then most of the other cleaners out there. Wait for your fuel tank to be about 1/4 full and then dump a full can of seafoam in the gas tank when you fill up about every 15,000-35,000 miles. Using more then one can or using it too often can harm your fuel system in very bad ways.

Not just the fuel system...don't over do it any where. If you overdo it in the fuel system, it'll build up "soot" on your spark plugs and cause misfires. And that goes for any fuel system cleaner, not just Seafoam. iirc, pouring it into a vacuum line requires 1/3, 10-15 minutes of sit time and then run till smoke is gone. Oil I've never done so I'm not sure on that. But they give directions for a reason. That is why I hate when people give products like Bars Leak bad raps. If you follow the directions, you will not have problems. I used it when I first got my Camaro, followed the directions to the letter, and haven't had a problem since.

Here's a pic of a spark plug a guy had in his Suburban when he used fuel system cleaners too much.

By heavy dose i meant 16oz ( 1 can ) mixed with about 8 gallons of gas. I think thats the minimum on the can. It says 16oz for 8-25 gallons i think. That picture isn't really in focus, but the color of it looks ok, is there a lot of deposits on it though? Really blurry....

Sorry. It was taken with a cell phone. Ha. But yes, if you look in between the tip and the ground it is caked with deposits. I had asked the gentlemen how often he used fuel system cleaner and he said every time he filled up. Which you're not supposed to do. Most fuel system cleaners are good for 3k miles just like motor oil. I explained that to him and he's like, "oh, so that's why every time I change my plugs and fill up I have miss a week later." It amazes me that people just can't read directions even when it's clearly labeled in large ink.
