pta for my car any good?

Default pta for my car any good?

im thinking about getting a performance timer accelerometerfrom beltronics to help tell me what my 1/4 time is cus the track is closed right now, doese any1 know ifthese are as accurate as they say they are?

They are fairly accurate. The thing that matters is if it is consistent. The more consistent it is, you can see how mods affect your times.

people i've talked to said they really aren't worth the money big variance in pta time and actual time

the g-tech pro ones seems to be the best becasue they have 3 built in accelerometers (for each axis) rather than using your diagnostic port like most other brands due, the reviews on it seem to say that they work as long as you dont spin the tires cuz that throughs every thing outa wack for that run.

i think i may get the g-tech pro RR after christmas as a gift for my car

In my experiance they are toys and not very accurite. Don't go around telling people your car runs "XX.XX" if you time it on a g-tech or any similar device. The only real way to tell is to go to the track.
