Pinion Seal

I noticed the dreaded oil spot on the garage floor last weekend. Put the car on ramps and found it is coming from the pinion seal. Is it very difficult to replace? Any special tools required? 02 Z28

If you have to asking if it is a DIY, yes. But by your question,I would suggest getting it done by someone who kowns what they are doing.
