New LS1 owner....and digging it!
Just picked up a 1999 Camaro Z28 LS1 6Spd...
Got it for $4200... 120K on the original engine, bought it from the original owner who had tons and tons of paper work for the work on car. Comes with T-tops as well.
I want to trick this car out badly! From what I know its bone stock.. has SLP intake or it might just be an SLP housing for the air filter.... I want to know what to do first? Headers? flows? I'm not to sure on how to start this project!!!
In addition, the car came with out air bags, red flags came up when he told me this but after car fax and everything-the car is clean. No accidents and not salvaged. .. Is it better to get an aftermarket steering w/o an air bag and just buy a passenger one? or bring it back to its original state... I know i need airbags and modules but I'm clueless to the cost and the labor that will be needed to do this job.... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...
I'm glad I went Chevy over Ford... and this WHOLE time I wanted an 04 Bullit .... Never again

Congrats
Congrats
I also am a new owner of a 2001 Camaro SS LS1 3 Pedal, they are pretty quick. airbags could get a little expensive though. try on line or wrecking yards you might get lucky.
Good Luck and enjoy

Just so you know... Carfax is mostly poop. Google it and look into it because there are some lawsuits and stuff against them for sucking and not doing what they say. Haha I read something about how they don't even get their information from insurance companies... (how else can you find out if a car is in an accident?) I would look into it more...
