unless the paraphrase neglected all of the major installs and expenditures you are paying too much. for 12k you could have a 650hp SC ls1 crate professionally installed in ur car

i would think a good set of heads, cam, boltons, and tune should be no more than 4k even with supporting crap. i just rounded everything up to 1k, which you can easily find that, u could even get well below that. professional install for everything should only take a few days solid work since alot of that stuff needs to come off anyways, so there is overlap on labor. 2k
