Loudmouth Exhaust???

Loudmouth Exhaust???
Ok, my car has the mods listed in the sig. I am wanting a Loudmouth exhaust as the Power-Flo is not loud enough for me, and I like the loudmouth's "raspy" sound. My question is, will the loudmouth provide any gain in performance over the Power-Flo? I just don't want to spend almost $400 dollars for sound, when I can buy a SLP Resonator and some pipe and make mine a loudmouth.

I had an LM on my LT1,the loud mouth is basically straight flowing 3" piping that has a bullet muffler, but the muffler is for show as it is straight flowing also. It doesn't even have little bumps in it like the Dynomax. Now they make different Loudmouths that are loud or a bit more quiet. And if I remember right the LM is also stainless. So if you want to save money, just go and put a hollowed out bullet muffler on your car for like $40-$50. If the Power-flo is 3" , manderal (however it's spelled) bend piping, then it will sound pretty much the same. Just my .02 and from experience, seeing it done and hearing it on other cars.
Or you could do a cut-out before the muffler on your existing set up.
