loudmouth exhaust?
Ok right not i have flowtech lt headers and ORY with a flomaster weldin. Ive been thinking strongly about keeping the same lt and ory but changing the flowmaster and getting a slp loudmouth catback. What do you guys think about this? I wouldnt mind a couple extra horses out of it but im mainly in it for the sound. I of course want it to sound better than the flowmaster that i have right now. Ive heard people say with this kind of setup its too loud (i like loud) and some say it sounds horrible (this i dont like) and others sayits awesome and they love it. What do you guys, Should i do it will it sound good, loud, and mean or should i reconsider?
And if i should reconsider the loudmouth what would you guys suggest?

What series flows do you have? Flowmasters are usually the best for a deep, mean sounding exhaust. Flowmaster 40 series catback is loud as hell, inside and outside of the car, and has a killer deep rumble.
Ithink its 80's but im not sure. It was on the car when i got it and it sounds goud i just wanted something louder and meaner like slp loudmouth with y-pipe and the headers that i already have.Or maybe even borla i just dont know.Tell me if it its worth it or not. And if it doesnt get any better i think ill just keep what i have.
It will be almost obnoxiously loud. Personally I do not like the Loudmouth or any Flowmaster, I would look at the Borla, Random Technology (which currently run) or some others. Check out www.ls1sounds.com for a bunch of exhaust sound clips
I have Loudmouth I catbackand I LOVE the way it sounds. Its not nearly as loud as everyone says it is. It has a viciouse rumble and just sounds scary as hell. But... with an ORY and headers you may want to be careful because I have heard from many sources that its obnoxiously loud and really annoying. Its not the volume that kills you, its that constant drone inside the car as your cruzing down the road that will drive you insane. with your current exhaust setup I would look into maybe SLP Loudmouth II's or borla. The SLP Loudmouth II's are bullet style race mufflers very similair to Borla Stingers. My buddy has Borla Stingers on his 03 GT and its VERY quiet until WOT and even then its not nearly as loud as my exhaust. I would imagine the Loudmouth II's are identicle when it comes to volume. The reason you pay so much more for Borla is 1.) The Name: Borla, and 2.) Its aluminum instead of steal.
i think that loudmouth exhaust sounds great. I lvoe the loudness of it. It will make the car sound mean. But ive haerd people say they like it loud and as soon as they rode in my car they say its too loud. Im sure you have 80 series because its made for camaros and ive eard 40's series sounds better but i dont have personal experience with it. I had 80 series but i thought it sounded like ****.
