I hear Hypertech's are pretty good. As for SLP's, I'm not sure about the 98. If I do end up getting one, it'll be Hypertech.

ok guys, a word of advice just from what i have heard from reseach etc.

" DONT WAS YOUR MONEY ON A HAND-HELD TUNER "

sorry but hypertech and diablo sport just alter a few things and you get a miniscule increase of stuff, thats it.

If you really want to get a propper tuner, where you can map the car for everything, and i mean everything get the EFI-live or HP-tuners professional tuner and software. This way you can learn how to tune the engine, tune to mods etc. If you do not want to do it yourself for whatever reason, do your mods and get a real dyno tune for you car you will have much better results!!!

If the hand-held was going to be you first mod as a power adder just dont!, get gears, slp/K&N intake, exhaust, cam etc - THEN A REAL TUNE/TUNER

and with regards to the 98 /99 issue, some early 98 have a different ecu vs the 99 type. they can still be programmed

Im looking for some people to help with a game Im currently developing. The team and game are in very early stages of development. So far we have me Lead developer, and Leval Designer and one other person 3d/2d artist and concept artist. We are planning on making a survival horrorish game set in a post nuclear Armageddon world.EDIT: New detailsHere are the basic details so far:The game takes place after world war three, the world has been reduced to a waist land. The lands are ruled by gangs, thugs, creatures, and mutants created by the nuclear radiation. Youre gang has been at war with another gang for quite some time, that is until one day they just disappear. Youre group takes this as a victory and celebrates its long awaited piece... that is until the same thing begins to happen to youre gang. Now you must unravel the mystery behind the mysterious disappearances and find out what really lies benith the waist lands. That is the basic plot for the game. It will be a single player third person action/survival horror/mystery game. The game will be liner with a few areas to explore to find clues and other hidden secrets. Combat will mostly be melee with stuff like pipes and axes, and once in a while the player will come across a gun or two but they will have to use the ammo wisely. That is what we have so far, the end result may be different from what is stated above. We are looking for anyone with any skill leval, as long as you are over 13 and live in canada or usa. This is not a paying job at the moment, but depending on how things go that might change. So, if youre interested in one of the positions listed bellow, post a replie or pm or send me an email me with youre email and example work if you want to.We are currently looking for:-Scripter/Programmer-2D artist-3D artist-Concept artist-Leval Designer Here is a sample of a website I developed for online payday loans

I agree with maudy in some respects. street tuning is ALWAYS better than dyno tuning. all dyno tuning does is bring out horsepower but doesnt account for drivability. But however you wanna tune your car, rather it be a hand held like hypertech or with software such as hp tuners were your not limited to alteration of parameters..it all just comes down to how much money you wanna spend..

blue_thunder, yes street tuning has it place, and thats what the scan allows you to do with efi life, hp tuners etc, however you do need a dyno, or a massive stretch of road so you can hit all scan parameters and adjust timing under load to stop detonation, knocking etc. A good dyno tune will be drivable if done by a profesional and done right, my friend had a car on the dyno for 4 hours straight getting tuned, all though the rev range. But you can achieve good results with a street tune. Hypertech is NOT a tuner, its a crap box. HP tuners and EFI live etc are real PCM tuners
