Anyone that runs a car with craked rotor, bald tires and missing lug nut does not care about the car. He drove it into the ground. Most likely skiped a few oil changes along the way. I would a void this car unless it is a great deal and you plan on doing a lot of upgrade so the current condition does not really matter.

Also you are getting some bad information valve bodies and shift kits are in automatic transmisions only. The only thing you can do to a manual to make it shift better is a after market shifter.

I would walk away from this one. In the first post you said the guy said new brakes... Then come to find out there is a rotor cracked. Then the nonsense about him upgrading the 6 speed. I would go to the gas station pick up a Dum Dum for about 15 cents, then walk up to the guy, and tell him "Here is the sucker you're looking for" and hand him the Dum Dum.

Yeah, if someone is trying to sell a car that isn't in amazing condition and wont sell itself they will say what every they think you will want to hear, beat around the bush a little, just to at least get you to come look at it and hope they can woo you with some sympathy or build value in the car to make it sound like the perfect car for you.

waaay to much stuff wrong with it... pass it up. Sell your truck and just get a good clean used one on the cheap. I found a great deal.... I just had to be a bit patient.
