http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/listcatsM.asp?MID=1this will now be ur best friend lol

heads and cam depend on wat u want ... i am going with the ms4 cam and ls6 heads after my rear end is fixed http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...6&catid=44http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...9&catid=40 it is kinda extreme for a daily driver but it will end up as the weekend rider.... and if u are going to get into cams and heads u will need a new clutch if ur m6 or a torque convertor and trans cooler if a4...and rear end cuz stock rear ends are weak as **** and might as well get some wider rims and throw some 315s on the back for better traction lol its a long road to prefection ...

a stock bottom end should not be pushed more than 600rwhp! So if you want 500-550 at the wheels the stock bottom should hold up fine, but your rear end won't! That axle will go quick.

When you refer to a bottom end -- what all are you referring to (including)?

just my 2 cents i have a 01 ss with 20.000 miles all i do is race it andi have shot it at least 30 times with a 250 shot of n2o and it hasnt had a single prob.my sources tell me the stock bottom ends of these engines will handle upwards of 6 to 7 hundred horses. ill write you at 100k miles and tell you the long term effects of this.lol[sm=drlove.gif]

^^^ in another post you said your car was completely stock and you do nothing but bracket race...... do you not even have fuel upgrades for that? the stock ls1 fuel system will have a rough time keeping up with a 250 shot.
