18 with an SS

 

I was 18 and it wasn't a Z or SS, 1975 Type LT
21 when I bought a 1969 RS/SS 396/375
My wife at 19, 1980 Z28
Me at 26, the wife 21, 2 1986 IROC's, one T-topped auto, one hard topped 5 speed.
Had kids, sold the 69 for a downpayment on a house.
Last kid just graduated from High School
So
51 years old 02 Pewter SS!!

 

I'm 20 with my 96 Z28. I got it when I was 16. It was my first car and only car. Got it with 92,000 on it. Now has 129,000 and still runs like a champ.

 

I own 2 Camaros and bought them both at 35 and now I am 36. The first was Sarah a 1999 3.8L for $500 and a month or so later we bought Diamond a 2000 Z28 for around $6K. This was not my first taste of power tho, when I was 18 I owned a 1966 Mustang GT that was putting about 300 to the rear wheels. I sold that car and bought a 1960 Chevy short step with a tripower 327 that would move the truck about the same as the Mustang moved but I never did get that truck on the Dyno to see what it was putting out, my guess about 30-40 more HP than the Mustang had.

i got my 95 V6 when i was 21 and my 94 Z28 when at 23

 

I'm 20, got my car when I was 17.

 

I am 23 and just bought a '94 Z28. My first car was a'76 Vega that I built into a hot rod by the time I was 18. I drove it for a year and bought a 1990 Vette that is now my full time race car. Since I dont drive the Vette on the street anymore I wanted a street toy that wasnt too pricey. Now I have a Vette and a Camaro.

 

My first car at 16 was a 1994 3.4 liter V6 5 Speed with ttops, sold it like an idiot a year and a half laterfor something a bit better on gas and bought a grand prix, sold that and bought a 1980 Camaro with a 1986 305 engine with a mild shift kit. Blew a head gasket and sold it and picked up my 1994 z28 about 3d months ago! I'm 19.

 

Bought my v6 when I just turned 21 and my Z28 when I was 22. Insurance is $100/month including a klr 650 on it as well.

@18 i traded a buddy for his "stelthed" 95 z28 it looked just like my v6 he wanted to save gas, i wanted a toy...
@19 an 18 wheeler stole Mandy from me, and put me in the hospital
and now @23 im back in a nearly identical z28 but with all the badges...
insurance for me is ridiculously low... like $200 every six months... but to keep my wife insured its around $1500 every 6...
