I think I was 20 when I got my first camaro, an '85 Z28. Got my second about a year and a half ago, a '99 RS, but it's a 3.8. Still very nice though. Love it. It just took third place in the '79-current class at a local car show. Oh, and I'm 37 now.

I am 19 and I have a 35th Collectors SS w/ only 26k miles on it! I love it!!!
I pay like 128 a month for insurance I don't think that's too bad.

I'm 28 I bought my first camaro when I was 17. It was a silver 88 hardtop 5.0 with a 5-speed. That thing was a burn out machine. lol I just purchaced a silver 99 z-28 six days ago, I almost feel 17 again!

Just wanted to add; it will be a cold day in hell before I turn my child loose in a 300+ hp car. My 88 only had about 200 hp and it's a miracle that I lived to see 28.
With that said you young guys be carefull.

Got my first camaro this year. 93 v6. I want a z28/ss but too many tickets on the record my insurance is more than i wanna pay so i'll hold off on buying a z28/ss until my insurance goes down. V6 is still plenty enough for a daily and is fun.

I kind of wish my parents would've gotten me a z28 but i got a 4 cyl for my 16th and drove it til this year then bought the maro. Looking back though, im glad i didnt have all that hp that young, not a good starter car really. I totalled my 4 cyl twice and went through a trans or 2, and rebuilt everytime. It was a good learner car though.

Im 32 and this is my 6th Camaro. I started with an 86 2.8 v6 m/p f.i. 5 spd, got so many tickets in it a judge ordered me to sell it. After i got my liscense back at 21, I bought another 86, this time a 305 h.o. 5 spd. Had fun with that, then sold it to get a 72 rs. Built the 72, rocked it for a summer, then went to a 73 lt drag car. That one did 11's. Sold that to pay for a wedding, then got the 99 z28. LS1 ftmfw!!! That was a 6m ttop car. Loved it to death, literally. Popped the engine in that, then found my current car. 2000 Z28, bought with 8600 miles on it for 11k. Oh, and did I mention that its 430 h/p? Car was professionally modded. Will post pics soon. And if you have multiple cars, your ins drops very low. I pay 130 per month for the camaro, my suv, and my wifes minivan for full coverage.

I'm 19 and on my second Camaro. First was a 99 auto 3.8. Now I have a 98 Z28. Couldn't imagine driving anything else.
