i have a vortech V9 superchargerwich is inmy 98 SS Camaro,how much PSi is it safe to run with?the kit only puts out four PSi[says 5to8]i don't want blow my motor up but want toget respect at track.

 

you should sell the supercharger and get better heads and a good cam

 

Before you sell the SCr try a smaller pulley on it. 4 lbs is probably only adding 15-20 HP. It takes 5 -6 to make a difference and about 7 is as much as you should run with a stock bottom end. That ought to give you about 100 RWHP more than stock. Also have the ECM tuned, well, by a pro.
