I am new to the site and have already learned alot! I just purchased a 98 Z-28 6 speed convertible. Love this car!

I did a search on here but did not find an answer to my problem. The previous owner stated he put on a B&M short throw shifter. At normal shift speeds there are no problems. However when shifting agressively I get grinding. I am guessing that this is a syncro problem but have not found how to remedy the problem or where to take it to have it adjusted properly. Any help will be greatly appriciated!

very nice car! yeah shifter isnt going to cause grinding issues, sounds like its a transmission problem itself
