Came out of an 02 SS, because it made too much noise while rpms were dropping.... HELLO its an aftermarket rear end
but w.e its mine now, picked it up for $200
question tho, should i leave the eaton in til it blows, or is it worth putting that one in and using it now and saving the eaton??? need some insite, ive never really dealt with this rear end not sure what differences im looking at, insight PLEASE

ok, well if its exactly same car with traction control its 4 chan, bolt straight in, if no traction its a 3 chan. Idk if your SS has traction or not?
anyways, im a bit confused at what you want to do, are you building this rear? or as a spare. Just save it as a spare if the unit is fine. And what aftermarket rear is it? as you mention in the post? Camaros either came with the zexel torsen OR an auburn. Eaton is another manufacturer that used clutch type lsd rather than auburn cone type in the camaro.
