I just purchased a 2002 Camaro Z28 Ls1, what kind of exhaust does everyone like? I dont really like the way Flowmaster sounds because i think its just loud and obnoxious. What about Magnaflow? Will it sound more like a performance exhaust?

Go with whatever exhaust you think sounds the best. You're really not going to see any considerable performance gains between the different systems, so it's all a matter of what you personally think looks/sounds the best. Go to www.ls1sounds.com and check out some of the systems and decide from that. If you think flowmaster is too loud the SLP is going to be much to loud.

 

ive heard the slp and it sounds damn good. make sure you get loudmouth 1 instead of loudmouth 2 though.

 

i have stock manifolds and y pipe with a magnaflow catback.. its not bad, i do like the sound but im sure there is something i like more.. I heard the GMMG sounds the best, but i haven't heard it in a while..
Either way, i hope to at least get ORY and some kinda catback with CME tips eventually..

slp loud mouth 1 sounds bad *** but is loud. i heard that texas speeds has there own cat back now that sounds pretty good but ive never heard it yet...
