Default Exhaust

I have a 98 Z28 and I want upgrade form the stock exhaust to a new one. I am leaning toward the slp Loudmouth II system from headers to tips, But I wanted to put true duals on instead of having the y pipe. Is there a problem with this? I also wanted to know if using this muffler will get me pulled over often, I'm al about noise but don't really feel like always dealing with cops.

the LMIIs aren't true duals and dont come with headers (you will need headers, a y-pipe, and the LMIIS for full exhaust, a few companies make bolt-on true duals though, bassani and TSP i think. LT headers, ORY, and LMIIs will be very loud, i dont know if you will get pulled over cuz i dont know the cops in your area but if they are *******s then i would guess yes

i wouldn't put true duals b/c the car wasn't designed for it. Look underneath it, you'll see what im talkin about. You have enough room for one 3-4 inch pipe to the back. If you do true dual you would loose major ground clearenc. Defenitely get a set of long tube headers though. Good investment.
