Default Drag radials on stock 10 bolt???

Would it be wise to run down the track on drag radials on my stock 7.5 ten bolt??? Or just use stock tires? I know the 7.5 is not too strong under that constant abuse that street slicks can do while launching.. Has anyone tested a stock ten bolt on street slicks??? Thanx

Lol. That was enough discouragement there bud. Thats what i needed to hear. I was just thinking bout the same stock size. p275/40r17 bfg drag radial. Never mind, i'll have to wait for the cash and 12 bolt. The good thing is the car has 50k miles. So its not too beat up yet. About what does a good rear end cost more less???

You gonna pay $2500 ish for a moser 12 bolt or ford 9" with posi, 33 spline axles and the traction control and abs rings needed to bolt straight upto the ss. Im thinkinh about trying the drag radials, getting a spare axle first

The rear end im looking at is the moser M9 fabricated 9" housing with aluminum center section and 40 spline gun-drilled and star-flanged axles with 4:11 pro/comp gears and control arm relocation brackets and backbrace provided and welded all powder coated silver...thats the reason for the 4500 price tag...if i have to buy one, im gonna do it right the first time

I hear ya bluethunder!!! I plan to do the same, idk when but it will happen in time. Once it gets paid off i can start saving to do plenty to the SS. Thanx for the link craby, that makes it easier knowing exactly where to go what to expect.
