Default Cam help

Looking for a little help picking a new cam, I am looking for an aggressive cam that can still be driven on the street. LS6 intake manifold LS6 patriot 2.08/1.6 64cc heads 11.8:1 compression 370ci iron being set up for a mild 200 shot.

I was thinking some where along the lines of a 242/250 113+3 LSA

I think i may just keep the Trex 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa since i am hearing a lot of good things about them. I might have to go a little higher on my converter "3600- 3800" since i have 3.42 gears.

^^^ had enough off the turbo ???

although i dont know that much about cams i'd say there is not a lot in the 2 above bar the ICL and LSA. And the 113+3 is only ground in advance to make torque kick in earlier as people often choose oversized cams for there engine, apparently. I'd say with the stuff you doing then stick with the trex and see how it is. You got a 3200 stall now or lower?

btw, i have my ls6 intake here now and LTs on the way. EFilive next then decide if its heads/cam time or gearbox build??? oh and i've sourced a second hand 10 bolt over here too so ill have a spare

LOL yeah we are finishing up a forged 370 L92 right now. Boost was fun but i fill like its time to grow up a little and become a more evolved and educated track guy. We are running LS6 patriot 2.08/1.60 64cc heads with 11.8:1 CR. My converter is a 3200 but I have already talked to RPM transmissions who built my converter and to re-stall it is free. I am only running 3.42 gears so I figured I would at least need a 3600 or bigger on a 24x cam.

i would go with close to a 4000 stall on that car, that would really make a difference. especially if you are going with a 200 shot. that would be a really nice setup

I would have to agree 3800-4000 would be just about perfect. Right now i am kicking around the idea of running the turbo set up for one more season so i can finish some of the little projectes listed below, of course i would be upgrading to a larger FMIC with 2.5 piping to see if we can get the IAT temps down.

New WS9 4 inch exotic hood
Moving the battery,
Re-locating the nitrous bottle,
Trans Temp Gauge (way over due)
Nitrous Gauge (Also well over due)
New AF meter (im not a big fan of the FAST i have now)
Moving the meth tank to some where cooler
