alternator keeps going out

so i replaced my alternator and it was good for about a month and now it messed up again i was swinging my car could it be that to much power went into it? is there a better alternator i can get?

Check your belt tensioner and belt -- are they both good? Also always cover your alt. if you are spraying water under the hood -- sure way to have it fail early otherwise...
