did slp offer a choice between a metal hood or fiberglass or was it model year dependant or were all ss's fiberglass?

All SS hoods were a composite material.

ok now i feel stupid,i've only had the car a couple of days and it(the hood)closes so solidly +it felt cold to the touch i thought it was metal.i took a magnet to the car and the only part i stuck to was my rear quarter pannels.this is good i was starting to worry that it wasn't a real ss.i read in the forums that some or all ss have ethier slp or ss badging on the interior is this true or did it varry year to year cause mine has nothing it just says camaro over the radio.
local GM dealer printed off my build sheet
-BBS=hurst shifter
-G80=axel rear posi limited slip...is this the good one?or is there a better one?
-GU6=axel 3.42 ratio
-LS1=
-MM6=6SPD manual
-MN6=transmission,manual 6-speed provisions(merchandising option)6-spd m/trans(MN6) WHAT the heck does that mean?
-WU8=sales package camaro ss appearance and performance pkg(WU8)
-Z49= I KNOW this one ,do you lol

Not all came with badging on the interior. That was an SLP option or even a dealer add on. Most of the earlier (LT1) SS's came with the it and for some reason fewer of the later (LS1) SS's had them. The Auburn is the better LSD than the G80, again another SLP option. The G80 is from the factory and seen more in the trucks.
