Hello, I have a 98 SS, my problem is with the factory door locks/courtesy dimmer/dome lights. They will work fine for a few days, when I use my key fab to lock the doors...they lock, the dimmer works, factory alarms sets. They will only work a few days, then I have to take the fuse out of the fuse panel on drivers side of the dash. After leaving it out for a few minutes and putting it back in, everything works again. Any suggestions on what it could be? Also, when it is not working, before I "reset" it by taking the fuse out, I can hear a "clicking" noise coming from the dash while the car is running, almost sounds like a bad relay "click". I am lost here and it is driving me crazy.

 

Sounds like the BCM is giving you issues. It may need to have the software reloaded into it's memory.
