There is a slight noise coming from my engine. I am positive that it is my serpentine belt and before I take it to a mechanic and spend mucho $$$$ I thought I'd take a crack at switching out the serpentine belt myself.
Can anybody point me in the direction of, or GIVE me a basic run-down on how this can be accomplished. I'm having a hard time finding one online and nobody near (physically location wise) me has a chevrolet or an LS1 engine and they all fear that they'd give me bum scoop.
SO pleaaaase help me out here I'm trying to take my car into my own hands and do all the work I can and this is that 1st step!

 

its easy you just need to pull the serp tensioner to the drivers side and remove the belt and replace it, it takes all of about 30 seconds, step by step directions on installuniversity.com, there is a seperate ac belt too
