Default 01 SS misfiring In Europe

Just recently got back from afghanistan and bought an 01 SS that had MSD coils/wires and a new clutch. I put an exhaust on it and took it on the autobahn screamin it up to 150...once i got off i noticed it was running like **** and lacking serious power.I replaced the timing chain and spark plugs andthrew onUnderdrive pulleys, oil pump, intake and MAF (all SLP). 940 Euro later or lke 1300 bucks i got it back running a better with less misfiring but still jacked up and with the maf and pulleys u can feel the extra power bein held back. the mechanic said i need new wires and showed me a corroded one so i elec. taped it off. before i do anything else and give this guy more money i need some advice from experts. Im goin back to the desert in 3 months and want to have this thing runnin 100% asap. Check engine light stays on and Flashes when i Gunit...Thanks for all ur help- Z

you said that you have the msd multi spark coils but unless you got some kind of ignition controller then the coil packs are making more sparks then the computer can pick up. Their is an ad on this website at the top of the page usually,it shows the controller you need. By the way I am jelious, I would love to take my camaro out on the autobahn. Hope this helps.
