Im driving a 2001 camaro ss automatic. My current mods are K&N,slp lid, tuned, tower brace, lt headers/ORY/Borla catback, nitto dr, subframe connectors, and QA1 coilovers. Everything else is stock. Right now im at 316rwhp/341rwtq, 12.89/108.53mph in the quarter mile. Im strongly considering a 3200 stall converter and 373 gears about how much will this cost and any idea what i will run in the 1/4 with it?

 

just wondering but a stock ls1 will handle 75 shot of nitrous. get the dry kit... i dunno it may and a half a sec on ur time.

 

The converter alone will get into the very low 12's, you might need better tires than those Nitto's though. Look at Yank or Fuddle, a converter is not a place to skimp on, it will run you $700 or so, but I promise you will not regret it.

 

Im going to show my ignorance herebut what exactally does the stall converter do? And whats this stuff i hear about shift kits that are sold for automatics?
