if you want an opinion, it would help if you told us what year and engine you have. or check youtube where can form your own opinion.

1996 V6 5spd. Was wondering what exhaust I should go with as well. Seen plenty of youtube vids but nobody really says if its just cat back or full system or custom on the V6's ive seen. I want to go with full system aftermarket but stay legal. Maybe cam it too, but gas mileage may suffer i figure. The car is almost mint and want to keep it that way with the nice V6 gas mileage to go with. Any one got numbers on the 4 major V6 exhaust makers? I checked out the post but im a newb.

With just an Exhaust it comes down to Tone and Price rather than Power Gains.
They're all pretty comparable, that's why we recommend youtube.

Well if u want the BEST get a GMMG (Very Expensive though) Specially made for 1982 and up Fbody.

U could also go with Loudmouth (great tone!)

If ur looking for something less expensive go with a Flowmaster.

Other good exhaust systems:
Borla, 2OTL, Hooker, Magnaflow, Corsa, Mufflex

I went with a Flowmaster daul exhaust system on my Camaro. It uses a single muffler that go's between the rear end and fuel tank. It duals in, and duals out. It might not be the best flowing system out there, it fits nice and is very solid. I won't have to replace it any time soon. YMMV!

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 38872. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.
