Weiland Intake & Alt bracket
Folks...
I purchased a '67 camaro w/ a 327 motor which made a minor miss. Unfortunately, the miss was a broke valve spring. In the process of tearing apart the motor, I noticed the alternator bracket is attached to the water pump but the upper hole in the bracket is about an inch above the hole in the intake manifold. It came with a Weiand 8004 intake manifold.
Question(s): Should the bracket align with the hole in the Weiand manifold? Do I need an additional part? How do i determine if its the correct bracket for the 327?
