Default True Dual for a 3.8L?

Does anyone know of any good exhaust for a '97 3.8L V6? I would like some true dual exhaust but I havent seen any, and I'm not sure if theres really room for it, but I was just wondering..I would like something fair-priced.. I've heard MagnaFlow is the best for V6's but Im not sure if its true or not.. thanks

It'll sound worse then a 4cyl civic. True duals for a V6 will have a bad sound...really really bad...Google video it or Youtube

+1

stick with a 2.5" single... I am running a 2.5" single in\3"single out dumped. Sounds decent.. sounds better than any dual exhaust i've heard on the v6

Go single. It's cheaper and will sound better than a dual system. 2.5" ipes will be plenty. That's bigger than the stock pipes on my truck and it's got a vortech 350. Im getting 3" soon.

yeah, it will be easier to just deal with a single pipe, but a friend of mine has a V6 mustang with true duals on it and it doesnt sound bad..

For a v-8 i'd go with Borla...i don't if they make any that would work on a 6. I'd rather go with magnaflow than flowmaster myself.

I'm running a magnaflow and I like the way mine sounds...Fierce and it doesn't try to sound like a v8. It sounds like it's been tuned really well. V6's need some restriction to flow best.
I personally think Flowmasters sound dull.... just my opinion of the ones Ive heard. i dont think they are throaty enough.

I have a flow master and it just sounds louder. It doesn't really sound like a defined exhaust tone.
