Default Is this real? 3.8 Turbo kit.

Hey I saw this on the internet:

http://www.cartuning.ca/products/pro...aro&engine=l36

Do you think this is for real? Claims over 200hp gain which would mean my v6 would be faster than an SS. Sounds to good to be true?

Would it mess up your transmission with all that power??

Is that real question or do you get part of the sale?

Looks like your for real by your amount of posts.
It seems to be a real kit. I would wait till someone else tries one before ordering.
It seems to be a new product without any real information.

Why did they release information about it in 2004?
Yet, they are still taking deposits?

Writen in 2004.

Oh I'm no spammer - I'm actually curious for real, but don't know enough about cars to drop 5k into something that may be a ripoff.

Yeah your points are real red flags to me. But man wouldn't that be sooo cool to pwn everyone in my v6!!!

they use to make a super charger for the 4.3 V6. Couldn't it be modified.

I spent a few more minute looking at the code.
Since 2004 they have been taking deposits on all of there products.
So far I cant find any information stating that they have ever actually
filled an order. I would stay the heck away from them.

Sounds good except deleting my A/C which is not gonna happen, but Spring is here, and it looks like it's still under development...

you can fab a turbo for anything, a friend of mine custom made a turbo setup on a 95 3800 he was running 8 lbs of boost which is pretty high and was a quick v6, but 200 hp gain? no i got him at the track everytime,,, he ran 13.5's i think so yes quick but a 3800 with 8 lbs isnt 200 hp gain and more than 8 lbs you better have alot of work done or have a spare 3800 laying around

Nowhere does it specify the lbs of boost for this system...

i understand that but a 3800 block with stock internals is gunna start having troubles after about 9-10 lbs of boost.... sooooo if its for stock engines then its not past that, and if its not past that then its not 200hp gain, now if it said max hp gain was 200 at 20psi, that i could see but you would require a decently built internal setup
