Pipes?
I don't know wgat size of pipes to run. I am gonnna be running a ZZ4 350 with about 375+HP. Do you think i could get away with 3 inch pipes without burning out my valves? Or would i have to settle for 2 3/4 in.? Any input would be appreciated.

RE: Pipes?
Don't worry about burning your valves, you can run the car without an exhaust manifold and your valves will be fine; however, the engine compartment may go up in flames. LOL
What will burn your valves would be an excessively lean mixture, retarded spark timing, an improperly set up camshaft, or maladjusted valve clearance preventing the exhaust valves from fully closing during the power stroke.

Cool...thanks, im going to go with 3in. pipes then. Hooker long tube headers probably and borla cat backs. Should sound pretty good after that.

RE: Pipes?
some say long tubes won't fit a third gen without mods. that is bullcrap. mine 3rd gen has long tubes. the clearance problem is of no consequence. the only thing you have to do is cut the flange from the header and weld 3" exhaust to it. the flange is what causes the clearance problem. once it is removed the pipe can be bent to alliviate the ground clearance problem.
