hey guys im looking into purchasing my high flow cat the headers and down pipe i thinking ima buy all three pecies and then go somwere to get em all put on at once i just found out i get a discount at mineke becuse of were i work is the discount worth having the install done by a chain like that or should i stear clear?

They're actually all privately owned, they just use the name, so prices vary. I had my muffler delete done by one, they did a decent job, overcharged in retrospect, but I was naive as far as pricing when I first got my car. If you get a discount, check out what the prices look like and check some other private shops etc. Go with who ever has the better price. Be prepaired to pay a pretty penny for a header install, they aren't fun.

what about to have just a cutout installed? i gotta get installed by someone else. ususally my dad and i would do it but hes not really supposed to know about the cutout. hehe

It all depend on who runs the shop and on who works there. It took me several years to find a good exhaust shop, here on Long Island, and it happens to be a Mineke shop, but there are also some bad ones in the area. Best thing is to talk to them & see if they know anything besides welding in a new muffler.

GOOD advise Pete...Listen to him..Not everybody can do everything themselves. Even the best ones have a guy to go to when they need something outta their reach. Having a "good" go to guy is awsome, ask around town, I am sure there is somebody that alot of people use that is reputable. And headers will be expensive.
