You'll probably have to get the mid-pipe. Most aftermarket headers will not bolt up to the factory y-pipe.

My honest opinion: Save up another $125 and get a SET of headers that come with the y-pipe from summit racing. You can get really nice headers from them that includes the y-pipe for $250-$500 depending on what you get.

 

I would personally save up and either get the BBKs or get a set from Texas speed!

Yes, you can still pass emissions! I don't know exactly where but I know that you can get Cat fakes! They look like Cats but they go straight through with nothing inside! All you have to do is buy a set of those, swap them for your stock cats, get the O2 Sensor extended wire harness, and when you go to get your car tuned get the rear O2 sensors tuned out where your CEL will stay off. B/c the only thing the shop does to check your exhaust is they hook up a computer, check to make sure your O2s are getting readings, then they look under the car for your sensors and cats. I have a set of fake cats but I will be using them soon and I bought them from a friend.

 

yeah dont go with shortube headers, always long tubed, short tubed are like replacing stock headers with another set of stock headers

 

glad i got the long tubes. they should be here tomorrow.how hard is it to break the bolts loose from the block
