Your car isn't going to benefit from any sort of PCM reprogramming, especially a handheld programmer. The best thing is a fully dyno tune, but you really don't need to worry about retuning anything until you get some internal mods, the computer can compensate for most bolt-ons.

SLP and Granatelli were the two bigger manufacturers for the 3.8 partsand I'm not sure how much they are still supporting it.
i plan on doing all the bolt ons. then a bigger cam should be about i will do for the actual engine. i dont even care about performance or speed. i want the cam for the sound. any oppinions or suggestions.

From listening to the people over on that forum, it's pretty close, if not the same. That way the cash you had saved for it, can be spent elsewhere. I know there are people on here who've done it.
