If i get a stock 87 camaro.Put edlebrock intake on it.Edlebrock carb 600cfm.Headers and a single chamber muffler wit a hollowed cat.How much horses should i be pushing?

 

What engine are you running? 350 or 305? If you have a 350 and do those mods my guess would be maybe a 14.5-15.0 car in the quarter.

 

It is a 305 but has alot of miles.I am planning on doin those mods on a 305.Then selling them and putting new mods just like these on my new 350 i get.

 

probably around 210. stock figures for third gens are embarrassing

They're not fast, but the times weren't all that slow for the time.

The later 305s and 350s were very close in 1/4 times and performance. The 350s could run anywhere from 14.70s-14.90s, and the 305s could run near 15.0s.

 

You probubly wont be doning that well since its an old engine. Either rebuild it and mod it or replace and mod it. dont waste your money on a old engine.
