Im having trouble deciding whether i want to go with the hooker catback or the magnaflow catback. To me, the only difference that i can hear is that the hooker has a bit of a deeper sound. Also, is the hooker aerochamber a wide open muffler like the magnaflow? Which do yall think would be the better investment?

 

I personally like magnaflow but both are good brands and offer good sound with good flow. As far as the chamber goes it depends on which model you pick. Just like flowmaster both brands offer different mufflers under there name.

 

different aftermarket catbacks are more about different sounds. they all pretty much add the same horsepower...just pick the one you like the most. my order would probably be GMMG, borla, corsa, magnaflow, hooker...etc

 

Id go with the magnaflow myself , I just love there tone !

Still not completly sure, haha, im kind of leaning more towards the hooker because i like the deeper tone..but too many people swear by magnaflow. I think after headers and other mods are done, i would like the hooker more, but just with the catback, i think the magnaflow sounds better.

 

I installed a Magnaflow on my 95 Z28 and it sounds great. I am missing the cat as they don't test emissions in FL so the more free flowing the better. The Magnaflow sounds great on the Camaro but I didn't like the sound for my Mustang and chose something different for the stang. It's funny how one brand sounds better on different make cars.
