I have stock exhaust on my z28, was wanting to know if I were to put long tube's on it, what modifications would have to be made besides cutting the pipe's shorter. Also i figured when i get put the headers on, im just gonna take the car to a muffler shop and get true duals and cut the cat off of it.

 

Should just be plug and play especially if you're having a muffler shop do the pipes.

 

Should be a nice upgrade too. I used to run long tubes on my 79 and true duals. It sounded a lot meaner then what it was
