Well here's what I need to know. I have an '80 Camaro with a smallblock. I'd like to install a good qulity 2 1/2 inch system from the headers(not boiught yet) back. Now I see lots of kits that are advertised for other years. Should I try and fit a kit, or go custom? I'm not stranger to exhaust fitment issues, my first was having a true dual system custom built for my 94 Thunderbird. I've just seen too many conflicting statements saying that 67-81 are all the same, or that 74-81 the clearance is different, so Im kinda confused.
