Default Catbacks

Can anyone think of better cat backs than Borla? Im looking to buy a set and i know Borla makes good stuff, but is there anything that would give me more horsepower than a set of Borlas?

If you would include the Car, engine & tranny info may be someone could offer a suggestion. Tough to give info on your question, so if you want a dumb reply go to Midas for catback exhust system.

As for the engine...it'll be either a 327 or a 350 makin around 375HP before factoring the exhaust in. Hooker long tube headers, 3 inch stainless pipes, and catbacks on a true dual setup. That help?

A cat back system is not a high tech thing and are all basically built the same way, and they all increase power about the same amount. hey may sound different depending on the mufflers used. Some, like Borla, make it possible to have a straight path through the muffler and add a little more power. What you are really paying for is the quality of the system, with stainless steel being the most expensive.

Well, im going stainless for that reason. Thanks pete...i'll stick with the Borla. The straight through Borlas were the original plan...should sound real nice. : D
