Best sounding exhaust
hey i was wondering i have a 96 camaro z28 v-8 i just got, and i want to put exhaust on it, but i had some things i was wondering about, like the local muffler store sells flowmaster mufflers and then puts pipping on and everything, and ive heard flowmasters are good for performance and sound, to sum up how i want it to sound is loud and beastly, so i was wondering if that would be a way to go, also i noticed that the "dual exhaust" is comming out of 1 muffler and branching off into 2 pipes so when i got this done would they only put 1 exhaust pipe going out, or would they put 2 going out, and if they only did one and i wanted dual would that decrease the performance at all?? sry for all the questions but i just got it like 2 days ago and im excited about getting started lol (im only 18)

RE: Best sounding exhaust
Flowmasters are not really that good for performance, they have a very distinct sound though. If you just want loud the SLP Loudmouth will get you there. It will have dual tips like your stock set up. True duals can be done on an F-body but they can cause ground clearance issues and can get costly as they need to be custom made.
