well ill get right to the point, i was think about gettin the slp cai package (flo pac) it comes with Cold-Air Induction Kit, High-Flow Air-Box Lid, F-Body Smooth Bellows, and K&N Air Filter to create a single, jointly engineered package worth up to 25 horsepower over stock. does anyone have this or know of a better one please let me know asap

SLP is giving You a preselected matched package. There may be better intakes out there but it may not be the best for their package.

 

Intake is an intake...as long as it's complete and has a good filter you cant go wrong

the flo-pac is a waste of money, just buy a lid and filter and be done

the other stuff is worthless and you will NOT be seeing anywere close to 25 horsepower

 

If you have an SS model, you already have ram air, which also works as a CAI.

 

so basically if i bought the flo pac id just bereplaceing the same intake i already have in their? and is the lid really worth it?

 

well not exactly, the ram air that comes with the stock SS is not the sam as the Ram air that comes with the flowpac. with the SS hood, the air goes through the hood, through two turns and then into your intake. With the flow pac the sheetmetal box that they give you scoops the air from in front of the ac condenser. You best bet is to buyyhe lid,bellows, and filter, then do the free ram air mod. the scoop with create more drag than power since LS1s pull air from below and the scoop poors air into the top

as i said before, get a lid and filter and be done with it

and 50 bucks for a bellow is a joke when you can do fernco for <$10
