I have ran a Flowmaster exhaust system and mufflers and I always thought they sounded great. What is the difference between a Flowmaster, Magna Flow, and Edelbrock?

 

Just different manufacturers. They're all quality products with different names.

 

Each has their own designs and their own benifits and drawbacks than others. Flowmaster has chambers to regulate sound and reduce backpressure. Magnaflow has a glass pack design, straight through design with a preforated tube that is surrounded by packing in an ovular shaped casing. Edelbrock has both chamber and flow through designs.

 

Flowmasters are so typical though...everybody with a GM seems to have one. And i personally think Magnaflow sounds better. I think Magnaflow's design gives more power than the flowmaster too.
