Default angle plug woes

Building 350 for my 67. changed to angle plug heads and larger flex plate. Looking for headers that will work on this setup. Will shorty headers be a good option? Any ideas will be helpful. thanks

What heads do you have? AFR heads (the ones I want to get) have the plugs angled away from the headers, actually making access easier.
You could use shorty plugs if yours are angled towards the tubes.

tried shorty plugs, #3 is too close to header. plug will go in with about 1/4"
clearance to pipe. also starter is riding on header(about 1/16" clearance). Was told you could use lawn mower plug on #3 but I don't want to do that due to heat range issues.
