Default 1996 Camaro RS muffler and dual piping

Hi I bought my 96 Camaro RS yesterday. I was wondering if I put on the Flowmaster 80 series muffler (which allows dual piping for a v6) where do i go to get the dual piping? I know where to get the exhuast tips I'm just not sure where i would get the piping that comes out of the muffler and connects to the tips. Here is a picture of the Flowmaster muffler. If you guys know at all it would be a big help. Thanks

Any muffler shop will be able to hook you up with what you need. Mandrel bent is the best but since it's going on v6 I don't really think that's necessary imo. Unless you plan on changing a lot like cam, heads, intake, tb, etc. and racing it at the track. On the street you'd never notice the difference.

ay thanks man. I'm most likely just going to take it to the muffler shop after emission (because next year my car will be old enough to were it dosent need emission anymore) and have them do straight dual pipes back from the exhaust manifold and have them put on some 40 series flowmaster mufflers. what other mufflers do you recommend for the loudest sound?

I have flowmaster 50 series on mine with 3 inch mandrel bent pipes with an X cross. You can hear them in the link in my sig on the left hand side of the page. They shake the windows in the front of my house which is right by my garage and sound nice. They're a little too loud for my taste personally. I was hoping for something a little more quieter than my glasspacks but a friend hooked me up with the entire exhaust setup from his 72 SS Camaro for a good price and I jumped on it.

Yeah, I would wait till you are "legal" to do what you want with the car as far as emissions and exhaust. Get you some nice headers while you're at it and you'll see little more punch over the stock manifolds.

ya I just found out the car might not be old enough after emission.... Ill figure what to do with the exhaust later after I fix everything up for emission and inspection. Im thinking about putting a nice glasspack cherry bomb muffler with a nice tip on it. I just want to keep it drivable but have it sound loud enough. But thanks for all the information. I appriciate it.
