Default 1968 camaro header drama

hello everyone, i am working on a 1968 camaro with factory A/C. & automatic trans and power steering.does anyone know who makes a header for this application.

You didn't say what motor you have in your car hundayguy... but look at what's available through Summit. I got mine there and it was a trouble free instal

thanks for the reply mike. my car has a gm performance crate 350 . i bought some doug thorley polished headers but apparently they are for a veh with out a/c. is that your ride on the pic.? very nice. are you running long tube headers and if so how is the clearance to the ground? do you have 2" lowered spindles. ? my headers not the long tubes and they hit the floor/fire wall area on passenger side.

Yes that's my blue baby.. thanks! I'm running long tubes on the original 327 and with the car set pretty much at stock height. I've been working to get it looking really close to a strong resto look. As far as the headers go I think I've got great clearance but two inches lower and I'd have to start watching the speed bumps. If your shorties were for your car they shouldn't be touching the firewall... I'd be checking my motor mounts if mine hadn't had clearance like yours...

Thanks for the reply. yeah, i hear you on the resto look. I have a 68 rs/ss with all the goodies. A/T,P/S,A/C. I am doing a frame off,rottisseri restoration with a lil personal touch on the engine compartment. otherwise all stock. Looking forward to send some pics of car as soon as i finish.
