Question Keep original motor

Hello

I have a 71 Camaro I have owned for 52 years. It came with a 350 2bbl. About 15 years ago I dropped in a GM 350 crate engine. I still have the original engine. As I am now in my 70’s, when the time comes my son will get the car. He has no use for the original motor as he wants to do a LS swap. Should I keep it just because it is matching numbers? I don’t think there is much value for the engine. Thanks

Its really only valuable as a numbers matching engine. 350 2 barrels were supper common. Might be worth twice a core charge.

I would keep it and any original parts left from an LS swap if you have room to store them somewhere, they are only original once and sometime in the future someone may want to restore it to original.
