I have a 12 Chevy camaro Rs/Ls at 160,000 miles that occasional get a lost communication code U0401 invalid data symptom 71. It doesnt do it all the time but does it when I stop at a light or idle and idles rough after the symptom. I used a multimeter to checks ohms, can high and low and checked my voltage i did have a bad battery but i changed it yesterday but still having the same problem. I also did a tune up coils and spark plugs with correct gaping check for vaccum leaks haven't changed injectors yet because I dont want to start changing things and it turns out it wasnt the issues. I used my big scanner to look over things one thing I forgot to mention I have a permanent code p305 I check misfire data and misfire data keeps misfire and this rough idling makes the stabilitrak icon light up here and there at idle and abs/speed sensors are ok I've been racking my brain has this happen to some of the camaro owners?
