Default z28 intakes

i have a bone stock lt1 and want a smooth elbow, maf-tuned for cold air intake, and a k&n filter charger or whatever.


now all this is like $600 at summit racing, WORTH IT OR NO?

if that is all u r going to do to ur car no, cause u will not get a sit of ur paints feeling from it and the hp gain will not really be noticed but if u r going to mod ur car out more later then yes it will make a bigger diff then. plus u can find this stuff cheaper diff places. but to each his own..

I'd go for a CAI(Moroso or K&N) and instead of a more expensive TB just get the bigger TB housing for an LT1 from http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette...rame=3.330.677

Corvette Magazine did a small series(1 article at this point in time ) on a budget LT1 build. They got the stated 7 RWHP and 9 RWTQ out of the housing.
