MY 92 RS with 305 will turn but wont start. I have changed the egr, starter, throttle position sensor, map sensor, idle air control valve and more. Sometimes it drives after I fight it and i have to bang on the starter from time to time. Whats up?

 

Try a new starter.

Your first and last sentence contradict each other. Does the engine turn over or not?
Most of those parts that you put on the car were a big waste of money, and have nothing to do with an engine not starting.
If it started but wouldn't stay running, that's another issue.

You say it turns and wont start, then you say it starts sometimes... we really need more details...

1. Check your fuel pump - Turn the key to on, not start it, do you hear it whine in the tank?
2. Check spark - pull a plug wire and lay it against ground, do you have spark?
3. What about your VATS? Is the security light flashing or staying on?

 

After I changed the tps it ran fine for several miles. Then I shut it off and later tried to start it and it wouldn't, just made a noise like it was going to (the belt was moving) but never fully cranked up. Later that day the engine wouldnt move at all. The lights come on, the security system beeps like usual but goes off. But no noise, whines. I havent yet checked the plugs

 

Ok, so it was cranking, then later in the day it wasn't. Did you burn up the starter trying to crank it for 20 minutes straight?

First things first, check the starter.
