Default Wiper Wiring Problem

So i just picked up my 82 camaro and the wipers are the first thing on the list. Here's a picture of what I'm working with.

The orange wire (top wire) goes to the steering column, The yellow wire (middle wire) goes over to a random fuse, and the grey wire (bottom wire) is not connected to anything.

I'm thinking i need a new wiper wire harness... what do you guys think?

EDIT: Are the two prongs in the front for power?

You want to give power to the motor manually first with a power probe or a booster pack and make sure its working before you start messing with the harness.

look like a new/good harness would be a good start. could be the inside wiring is questionable too but cross that bridge when it comes. i suggest u get a repair manual. makes life easier. if u have access to a manual look up the wiring diagram it will tell u if the two are pos and neg terminals. (should also tell how to test motor) it is logical to think that they are but really dont want to burn something out hooking hot wire to it. if u have a ohm meter test the terminals for ground continuity on the two to see if one is a ground. that way u would not be hooking a positive charge to the negative terminal.
